Patients are seen by appointment only unless there is an emergency situation. If your scheduled appointment is delayed due to an emergency situation, we ask for your understanding. We do everything we can to see all of our clients and their pets in a timely manner.
We are always eager to meet new clients and pets! If you are not a current client of ours, call us at 845-628-1834 to schedule your pet's first visit. You are welcome to complete a new client form prior to your pet's appointment. You can also fill out a new client form in-house, but we ask that you arrive a few minutes early to do so.
For the safety of all clients, patients, and staff, pets must arrive to our facility properly restrained. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
If your pet has an infectious condition such as kennel cough or parvovirus, please let us know so we can prevent the spread of disease to other pets in the waiting area. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats and exotic pets must be in a carrier.
If your pet is hospitalized for more than 24 hours, we will provide you with daily progress reports. The best time to call for an update on your pet's condition is in the morning at 9:30 AM, and/or between 1-2 PM. While your pet is hospitalized, visiting times may be arranged with one of our receptionists. Visits are dependents on the patient's condition.
Drop-off appointments are available upon request.
Surgical patients are admitted to the hospital between 8:30 - 9:00 am unless other arrangements are made prior to the day of surgery. Discharge times vary depending on your pet's surgical procedure. We ask that you give us a call after 3 pm on the day of your pet's surgery for specific discharge instructions.
Emergency cases are always seen right away during open hours. These cases are oftentimes time sensitive, so there is no need to schedule an appointment. Please bring your pet in right away and give us a call on your way so we are best prepared for your pet's situation.
Call us at 845-628-1834 if we are closed, and our answering service will advise you which emergency clinic is nearest you.
In order to provide pets with the highest quality veterinary care, payments must be made at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements are made.
